The Parabiosis Mouse Experiment

The causes and mechanisms of aging have been one of the most constant topics that people have studied. One technique that has shown promising results for studying aging is parabiosis, a process in which blood vessels in two animals are joined together. In this process, both animals share a single circulatory system, allowing the study of many complex systemic effects.
